Guzzle Buddy is a wine glass that makes pouring wine fun. The stem of the wine glass screws into a wine bottle eliminating the need to pour and to cork and uncork the bottle every time you want more. “Plug It and Chug It” is one of the taglines. The idea for Guzzle Buddy was inspired by the Cougar Town episode “Too Much Ain’t Enough” when Courteney Cox‘s character Jules and her friends complain about “wine wrist.” See clip below. The founders of Guzzle Buddy Wine Bottle Glass, Jennifer Sullivan (mother of twins) and her brother-in-law Randy Rothfus, are pitching their product on Shark Tank on January 21.
The Guzzle Buddy is also available in a 12 oz. beer glass (also $24.99) and an “unbreakable” Guzzle Buddy 2 Go made from Tritan is in the works ($14.99). Guzzle Buddy 2 Go might give former Shark Tank hit product Goverres a run for their money! (Mark Cuban, Robert Herjavec and Lori Greiner made a $200,000 investment in Goverres in April 2017 in exchange for 33.3 percent.)
