For his Blind Audition on The Voice, Season 13, New Yorker Chris Weaver sings the Otis Redding song “Try A Little Tenderness,” and after the second line “young girls do get weary,” Adam Levine hits his buzzer. Jennifer Hudson hits her immediately after. Miley Cyrus and Blake Shelton hit theirs too and all try to woo Chris onto their team. Not only are the judges amazed with Chris’ talent, but when Chris reveals that he’s worship leader and a drag queen, they all go crazy for his story.

But there’s more to Chris Weaver’s story. Chris used to be heavy and he’s proud of how he has “transformed” his body. He posts before-and-after photos with the hashtag #TransformationTuesdays.
