Three entrepreneurs from Seattle, Washington – Tov Arneson, Ian Lyman, and Alex Wilhelm – are behind the app Validated. It allows shops and restaurants to reward customers by paying for their parking (or ride via Uber or Lyft, mass transit, and even Bike Share programs). The more you use the app, the more credits you earn. Businesses participate with the hope that customers will return more often if they know they don’t have to pay for parking.
