When the two entrepreneurs behind Goverre, a no-spill, portable, stemless wine glass, pitch their business on Shark Tank (April 21), wine connoisseur Kevin “Mr. Wonderful” O’Leary sits up and pays attention. While he tells the Goverre entrepreneurs, Shanna Zappala and Regan Kelaher, that they’re “not playing in the big leagues yet” he offers to help them get there. It’s a convincing pitch from O’Leary who claims to sell $10 million a year in wine on QVC. The Queen of QVC, Lori Greiner, who’s sitting right next to him doesn’t deny the fact.

O’Leary anticipates he will sell even more “wine” this year now that he owns 20 percent of Apollo Peak, a company that sells (nonalcoholic) wine for cats and dogs, which he invested in on Shark Tank earlier this month. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
