Apollo Peak makes wine for cats and dogs in Colorado. That’s right, they sell bottles of non-alcoholic wine with cats and dogs in mind. Apollo Peaks uses organic herbs (peppermint, chamomile, and yes, catnip) in their bottles of Moscato and CharDOGnay. For their red wines — Pinot Meow and ZinfanTail — they add organic beets to the mix. Apollo Peak is pitching their business on Shark Tank (April 7).
Just weeks prior to their appearance on Shark Tank, the cat ladies behind Apollo Peak collaborated with rapper iAmMoshow (MSHO) aka The Cat Rapper, to release the “Cat Wine” music video below. The refrain of the rap is: “Pull up all the time, we be drinking cat wine. Mix it with the beets (beats?), and you know we’d be fine.” You can download the song on iTunes.
