A Miami, Florida law firm will help Bernie Sanders supporters fight back against what many see as efforts by the Democratic National Committee to undermine Sanders’ candidacy for president. Documents made public by WikiLeaks are being interpreted by some as containing malfeasance on the part of the DNC. Many Sanders supporters have long believed the DNC tacitly pulled for a Hillary Clinton nomination.
Beck & Lee Trial Lawyers plans to file a class action lawsuit against the DNC, using the leaked documents as evidence that the DNC fixed the fight between Clinton and Sanders. The number of eligible plaintiffs could be as high as the number of Sanders supporters, attorney Jared Beck told US Uncut. That is a famously large number of supporters who each gave a small sum of money — a fact that could lend the lawsuit grist.
