In the TV movie Driven Underground, a jogger named Christy Palmer witnesses a man being shot, execution style, in the woods. Christy outruns the killer and later identifies him in a lineup. Christy is then terrorized by the killer’s mafia associates. “Testify and you’re dead,” reads one message thrown into her house with a rock. Christy’s mother, Sarah, decides to pick up the family and move to Oregon where they go completely off the grid. The plan backfires when the police can’t find the Palmers before the mob does.
