When I saw the original Portrait of a Young Woman (by Petrus Christus), I spontaneously wept for the very first time for an artwork.

Since 1995, Dutch photographer Hendrik Kerstens has been photographing his daughter, Paula. His portraits refer both to the Dutch masters and the those of the Italian Renaissance.
