Switch Witch is a business designed for Halloween and for parents who don’t want to let their children eat all of the candy they receive while trick-or-treating. The Switch Witch works like the tooth fairy. Instead of leaving your tooth under your pillow, a child leaves candy out for the Switch Witch who then swaps the candy for a non-edible, fun present — a plush toy and boy. The two entrepreneurs behind Switch Witch from yes, Salem, Massachusetts, pitched their business on Shark Tank in October 2015. Alas, they did not get a deal on the show.
Three Halloweens have passed since the Shark Tank episode aired, and The Switch Witch is again getting geared up for the spooky holiday in 2018. In September, the company posted free Switch Witch Halloween worksheets and grading guides that are Common Core-friendly for teachers. And the company has teamed up with Operation Shoebox, an organization that delivers Halloween candy to soldiers at home and abroad. [Related: 27 All-Time Favorite ‘Shark Tank’ Products]
