Fox News star Kat Timpf shared her opinion about President Trump’s decision to indict and capture Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro on the Fox talk show Gutfeld!. As seen below Timpf said, “Some people might be feeling a bit of whiplash given that Trump’s spent ten years railing against U.S.-led regime change war,” and that “his own Director of Intelligence as recently as two months ago was railing against regime change war, and then he does one.”
When host Greg Gutfeld replied, “The regime is still there,” Timpf responded: “Let me get this straight: We go to a country, we capture their leader, we bomb it, and then we say we run this country now — and that’s not war. But when they send cocaine over here, that people are willingly snorting — that is war? That doesn’t make any sense.”

Since making the comments on Monday, Timpf reported on social media: “Receiving some very brutal personal attacks for having the same opinion on foreign policy as I’ve had my entire career — and from many of the same people who had claimed to share this view with me as recently as a few months ago. I thought it might be bad, but it’s worse.”
Timpf is receiving support from fellow libertarians including former U.S. Congressman Justin Amash (R-MI), who replied: “You’re that rare person I’ve known since my earliest days in politics who has remained true over the years. I have the utmost respect for you, and I’ve lost respect for so many others. Thank you for standing on principle.”
And conservative journalist Mike LaChance (Gateway Pundit, Daily Caller, Breibart) replied: “The minute I heard your answer on this, I knew you were going to get flamed for it. Hang in there Kat! You are tough!”
Timpf thanked both Amash and LaChance. In her reply to LaChance she wrote: “I knew I would too. But I am not going to lie and pretend I believe something I don’t to avoid getting flamed. I am always honest about what I believe is right, whether it’s popular or not. Appreciate you.”
