Frywall is a BPA-free silicone cone that sits atop a frying pan. It keeps hot oil splatter from spraying all over the stovetop and onto the cook’s clothes. “Fry without fear” and “Sizzle without splatter” are two of the clever, alliterative taglines. Yair Reiner from Brooklyn, New York, is the inventor of Frywall. Reiner’s pitching his business on Shark Tank (January 7). Frywall has a lot going for it — it solves an everyday problem, it has a good price point ($21.95 for 10″ pans, $28.95 for 12″ pans), and a charismatic spokesperson. (It’s also dishwasher safe and rolls up for easy storage.)

Frywall has received a lot of press prior to its Shark Tank appearance. This isn’t Reiner’s first time on TV. In April 2017, he sold out of his Frywalls on QVC with “the incomparable David Venable” (see photo below). And he won the “Next Big Thing” award on The Today Show (see below). And in November, Frywall was featured in the LA Times 2017 Best Gifts For Those Who Love to Cook and Bake. Lifestyle maven Martha Stewart was on the list too for her Wine Club. New episodes of Shark Tank (Season 9) air Sundays at 9pm and 10pm on ABC. [Related: 27 Favorite Shark Tank Products New List]
