Ehan Kamat is the 17-year-old inventor of SoleMender. It’s a cooling roller device that’s designed to relieve foot pain (especially from plantar fasciitis). You just roll your bare foot over the cool roller which is kept in the freezer. Ehan was inspired to make the SoleMender after watching his mother try to self-remedy her foot pain with a frozen toy. Now he (and his father) are pitching SoleMender on Shark Tank (October 15). Guest Shark Alex Rodriguez and billionaire Mark Cuban will offer Ehan “sage advice.”
Fun fact: The name of SoleMender is derived by Shakespeare’s play, Julius Caesar, where a cobbler claims to be “a mender of bad soles.” SoleMender is available on Amazon with 0% estimated tax, and sold for $39.99 at the SoleMender website. Shark Tank airs Sundays at 9pm on ABC, right after America’s Funniest Home Videos.
