The Season 8 finale of Shark Tank was a fruitful one for Kevin “Mr. Wonderful” O’Leary. He invested in two successful businesses, the Wine & Design franchise and Bridal Buddy, a slip worn under a wedding dress that allows a bride to go to the bathroom without assistance. The inventor of the Bridal Buddy, Heather Stenlake of Pennsylvania, pitched her business on Shark Tank and asked for a $75,000 investment in exchange for 10 percent equity. After a serious round of negotiations, Stenlake accepted a $75,000 investment from O’Leary and Lori Greiner for 30 percent.
After Shark Tank, Bridal Buddy released a new Mermaid design slip which is perfect for mermaid and trumpet styled wedding gowns. And the brand teamed up with another O’Leary invested Shark Tank product illumiBowl (the toilet night light) for a giveaway (see below). Shark Tank returns for its ninth season on Sunday, October 1 on ABC.
