The eagle wearing the Sony Action Cam Mini is back. Last time we flew with the eagle we were headed toward the Eiffel Tower. But this latest video has the soaring creature trading the Seine for the Thames and the Eiffel Tower for the Tower of London.
The audio is pretty arresting, as you get a sense of the flight speed from the wind whipping by. And as great the video is, the branding still needs work. In longer footage here the narrator tells us that the eagle has a GoPro camera attached. That–in a nutshell–is Sony’s uphill climb to market its Action Cam Mini–people call these little cameras GoPro by default. Just the way people call all tablet computers iPads. But it’s a cool view, whatever brand captured the footage. The technology on the eagle–which is eagle version 10.0 at least–is particularly well made.
