When not serving as President of the renamed Trump Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Richard Grenell, who also serves as Special Presidential Envoy for Special Missions, says he’s helping “sneak gays and lesbians out of Iran.”
Note: President Donald Trump has vocally supported the current citizen uprising in Iran, vowing the U.S. will take “very strong action” against Iran if it executes protesters. (A high death toll attributed to Iranian riot police activity during nationwide protests has already been reported.) Trump encouraged Iranian protestors on social media to “KEEP PROTESTING – TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!!” and said “HELP IS ON ITS WAY.”

Addressing his actions on behalf of gay Iranians, Grenell, who is gay, added: “And for the first time EVER, someone has said ‘I want to wait just a bit’. There is real hope coming from the inside. I don’t think you can stop this now.”

Not all MAGA supporters approve of Grenell’s alleged rescue mission. As one replied, “Don’t be bringing gay and lesbian Iranians to America bro.” Another asked, “Where exactly are you taking all these gay Iranians?”
Another, who accused Grenell, the former U.S. Ambassador to Germany, of being “heterophobic,” asked who is paying for the mission: “Is the gay Underground Railroad tax funded???”
