McDonald’s is going back to its early breakfast origins for a sweet treat the coffee lovers will love — a cheese Danish that graced its innovative breakfast menu decades ago. That was before coffee became something of a national religion and before McCafé became a in-house brand to successfully compete with the likes of Starbucks.
Alas, we’re going back in time for just a limited time, beginning on September 14. But if the renewed item wins the hearts and stomachs of the new breed of McDonald’s breakfast and coffee lovers, there’s always a chance the cheese Danish may stick around.
Filled with sweet cream cheese and drizzled with vanilla icing, this cheese Danish is sure to win fans fast.
