The protagonist of To Have and To Hold is server Alice who bumps into her high school crush Joe Evans (Antonio Cupo) at a catering job she’s working. She can’t believe the dashing, wealthy and successful Joe would choose to marry her, but he does. She willingly allows him to mold her into his ideal socialite wife, but then she finds him cheating on her. Now she has to start all over.
Alice is portrayed by Erika Christensen. She’s best known for her roles on Parenthood (Julia Braverman-Graham), and in films including The Banger Sisters (Susan Sarandon’s daughter Hannah), Swimfan (Madison), and Traffic (Michael Douglas’ daughter Caroline), among others.
The 36-year-old mother of two recently traveled to Death Valley National Park and Yosemite with her husband of three years, cyclist Cole Maness. Their daughter Shane is 3, and daughter Polly will turn one in August. Maness delivered Polly at their home!

This is the raddest of dads. This guy took the first pic on a self-timer out in the flippin wilderness alone with both children. (Me and my milk-makers miles away.) Bold move! One of many. You know he delivered Polly. While distracting Shane with a dvd of The Lion King. And not even freaking out about it. And that, of course, was only the beginning. The creativity (epic forts from cardboard boxes) and humor every day impress me and makes me so happy. @coelmaness you make the our girls happy! And you make me so happy. Thank you for everything. ♥️♥️♥️
To Have and To Hold, which is based on the novel of the same title by Jane Green, premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, June 22 at 8 pm.
