Shaft star Regina Hall is hosting the 2019 BET Awards. She’s not the only gorgeous and talented celebrity to grace the stage. Big stars like Cardi B, and emerging stars like Kiana Lede, will perform — and fans of Teyana Taylor are hoping she’ll make it to the stage to accept at least one award.
The dancer/singer is nominated for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist (Beyonce, Ella Mai, H.E.R., Solange, and SZA are up for the title too), and for the BET HER award for her single “Rose in Harlem” from her album K.T.S.E. (Keep That Same Energy), which was recorded at Kanye West‘s ranch in Wyoming.
One week before the BET Awards, Taylor (aka Jimmy Neutch-Shumpert), shared photos of her (and her husband, NBA basketball player Iman Shumpert, posing in Rhude camo clothes next to their Cadillac truck — also with a killer camouflage wrap. Ironically, the truck stands out wherever it goes.
2019 BET Awards airs Sunday, June 23 at 8 pm on BET, MTV, and VH1.
