In the NCIS episode “Mona Lisa,” Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) wakes up on a dilapidated fishing boat, covered in blood and unable to remember the last 12 hours. He doesn’t even know where he is. When Gibbs (Mark Harmon) tells him he’s in Virginia Beach (three hours away), he can’t believe it. Last thing he remembers is going to the gym after work. It was a Monday night.
Torres and Gibbs conclude he’s been drugged. Meanwhile, Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) has a dinner date with Mallory. The first and last time NCIS fans saw Mallory was in the October 2018 episode “Boom,” when the team investigated an explosion outside the home of a Navy petty officer and popular reality TV star (see episode link above) and Vance met Mallory at PT.
Mallory is portrayed by Dionne Gipson. She’s known for her roles on Greenleaf (Teresa), Criminal Minds (Renee Morales), and in films including Illicit (Elaine), Pee-wee’s Big Holiday (Brook), and Black Dynamite (Afroditey), among others. The Atlanta native is also known for her roles on stage including her debut in Dreamgirls at the 14th Street Playhouse in Atlanta, and as a singer with Rick Springfield, Wayne Brady and Public Enemy. NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on CBS, right before FBI. Her reel is below.
