The Voice coach Blake Shelton entered the Live Top 24 elimination show (Tuesday, April 30) with the upper hand with a total of eight artists left in the competition. Meanwhile Blake’s nemesis Adam Levine has 4, and Kelly Clarkson and John Legend each have 6. Blake’s especially proud of the fact that 2 of the 8 are stolen, including Oliv Blu.
The 21-year-old singer from Chicago sang the famous Brazilian bossa nova and jazz song “The Girl from Ipanema.” Ipanema, btw, is a chic seaside town in the southern part of Rio de Janeiro. For Oliv Blu’s performance, she dons a long braided wig (which she plays with during the performance!) and a draped, one-shoulder goddess gown. The Voice airs Mondays at 8 pm and Tuesdays at 9 pm on NBC.
