CBS play-by-play sports commentator Jim Nantz has launched a clothing line with retailer Vineyard Vines. The clothing company describes The Jim Nantz Collection as “comfortable, sophisticated pieces for the course, clubhouse and beyond.” The three-time Emmy Award winner millionaire sportscaster says, “Living at Pebble Beach, we wear quarter-zips every day,” so of course his line includes quarter-zip sweaters ($245). The Jim Nantz Collection also includes “Palmer Cardigans” ($168), performance vests ($168), half-zip tops ($145), and polo shirts ($98). Nantz posed in a number of pieces from the collection for the promotional photo shoot (see photos below).
CEO and co-founder of Vineyard Vines Ian Murray refers to Nantz as “our captain of golf.” Murray says the company has taken Nantz’s “experience and knowledge, his love and passion for the game” and have “built the best American golf brand ever.”
