In the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode “Plastic”, the team investigates when a young woman named Ava Parcell (Willa Fitzgerald) accuses celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Heath Barron and his girlfriend, Sadie Parker, (Alyssa Sutherland) of rape. Ava says she went to a loft party, was drugged and then woke up in a strange bed with her ankles tied.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Heath Barron is portrayed by Mark Feuerstein. It’s not the first time he’s played a doctor on TV: Feuerstein starred in Royal Pains* as concierge doctor Hank Lawson. He’s also recognized for his roles on 9JKL (Josh), Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later (Mark), Prison Break (Jacob Anton Ness), Nurse Jackie (Barry Wolfe), The West Wing (Clifford Calley), Good Morning, Miami (Jake Silver), and Caroline in the City (Joe DeStefano), among others. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit airs Thursdays at 10 pm on NBC, right after Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
*Feuerstein and Fitzgerald were on Royal Pains together: Fitzgerald played Hank’s half-sister Emma.
