In the Lifetime movie “Christmas Lost and Found,” professional event planner Whitney Kennison (Tiya Sircar, The Good Place) leaves New York City to spend Christmas with her Grandma Frances in Chicago. Frances is so excited to see her granddaughter, she bestows the family Christmas ornaments to Whitney, who mistakenly throws out the ornaments. A scavenger hunt ensues and Whitney falls in love with Brian (Edward Ruttle) and while learning an important life lesson.
Grandma Frances is portrayed by Diane Ladd. The three-time Oscar nominated actress is known for her roles on Chesapeake Shores (Nell O’Brien), Enlightened* (Helen Jellicoe), and in the films Joy (Mimi), Rambling Rose* (Mother), Wild at Heart* (Marietta Fortune), Chinatown (Ida Sessions), and Martin Scorsese’s Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore with Ellen Burstyn and Kris Kristofferson (Flo), among many others. Christmas Lost and Found premieres on Lifetime on Friday, December 7 at 8 pm.
