Dancing with the Stars: Juniors is similar to the original DWTS show — 12 celebrities perform choreographed routines with 12 professional ballroom dancers. But on this spin-off all the celebrities and professionals are kids! Some of the celebrity kids have reached fame on their own including black-ish star Miles Brown. Others are children of celebrities including Sophia Pippen, 9-year-old daughter of NBA legend Scottie Pippen and Mandla Morris, 13-year-old son of the legendary musician Stevie Wonder. Stevie Wonder is the father of nine children. Mandla is No. 7. On DWTS: Juniors, Mandla is paired with pro partner Brightyn Brems and supervised by DWTS champion Cheryl Burke.
Mandla’s mother is Stevie Wonder’s (born Stevland Hardaway Morris) second wife, Kai Millard Morris. They were married for 11 years (2001-2012). Mandla was born on May 13, 2005, his father’s 55th birthday. (Wonder and Morris also have 17-year-old son together, Kailand.) Kai Millard is a fashion designer.First Lady Michelle Obama wore one of Morris’ gowns at the Library of Congress Gershwin prize ceremony at the White House when Stevie Wonder was honored (see photo below). Wonder is currently married to his third wife, Tomeeka Bracy. Dancing with the Stars: Juniors airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC, right before a new season of Shark Tank.
