In the Season 9 premiere of Bob’s Burgers, “Just One of the Boyz 4 Now for Now,” while carrying a pile of napkins to bring into the restaurant Tina gets bumped into by a boy named Damon (Josh Gad). She immediately sees their lives together as husband and wife flash before her eyes. He apologizes, but he’s in a rush to get to the open call for the boy band Boyz 4 Now (where no crazy girl fans are allowed). To track him down, Tina disguises herself as a boy to get into the audition room. Once there she’s distracted by several cute boys including Hayden.
Hayden is voiced by Andrew Rannells. The Broadway star (The Book of Mormons, Hamilton, Jersey Boys) is also known for his roles on Girls (Elijah Krantz), The Knick (Frazier H. Wingo), The New Normal (Bryan Collins), and in the films The Intern (Cameron) and Bachelorette (Manny), among others. Rannells will appear next in the 2019 comedy series Black Monday set after the Wall Street crash in 1987 opposite with Don Cheadle. Bob’s Burgers airs Sundays at 8:30pm on FOX, right after The Simpsons and right before Family Guy.
