Dancing with the Stars is back for Season 27 with 13 new celebrities competing for the Mirror Ball trophy. Olympic gold medalist Mary Lou Retton is a serious contender as are former child stars Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider (Bo Duke) and Facts of Life star Nancy McKeon (tomboy Jo Polniaczek). On the first night of the competition, Schneider and his pro dance partner Emma Slater will do a Foxtrot to the theme song “Good Ol’ Boys from Dukes of Hazzard” by Waylon Jennings.
Actor John Schneider was just 17 years old when he landed the memorable role of Bo Duke on the The Dukes of Hazzard. While filming the TV show, which aired on CBS from 1979 to 1985, Schneider launched his country music career. Since 1981, Schneider, now 58, has released 22 albums. You read that right. His most popular album, A Memory Like You (1985), was #1 on the Billboard Top Country albums chart. His most recent album, Odyssey the Journey, was released in June 2018. Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
