Actors Catherine Bell (Good Witch) and Cameron Mathison (Entertainment Tonight, All My Children) blurred the lines between work and vacation when they filmed the Hallmark movie A Summer to Remember. Bell plays a busy doctor who runs a hospital in Portland. She decides to take a break with her teen daughter Ava (Samantha MacGillivray). They spend their vacation at an amazing resort in Fiji. Bell’s character falls for the owner of the resort (Mathison) who has a rule about not dating the guests — but he makes an exception.
Fiji is an archipelago of more than 330 islands in the South Pacific. Fiji (population 837,000) is known for its white sandy beaches, coral reefs and scuba diving. Depending on what time of year you visit, 5-star hotel rooms in Fiji can cost anywhere from $1000/a night to $200/a night. A Summer to Remember premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, August 4 at 9pm.
