During the sixth week of auditions for Season 13 of America’s Got Talent, judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel meet The Angel City Chorale (ACC) of Los Angeles. The multi-cultural choir of men and women was founded by artistic director Sue Fink in 1993 with 18 singers. Now, celebrating their 25th anniversary, the choir is 160 voices strong. Over the years, the Angel City Chorale has released three albums, see links below. Their live performance of the 1983 Toto song “Africa” has been viewed more than 10 million times. Check out the video below. How the choir makes the sound of rain is amazing.
New episodes of America’s Got Talent air Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC, right before World of Dance.
