The Four: The Battle for Stardom is back for its sophomore season and Sean “Diddy” Combs has found four diverse superstar contestants. They are: Latina pop star Stephanie Zelaya, soul singer Carvena Jones, former boy band member James Graham, and hip hop artist Sharaya J. Sharaya J. (born Sharaya Howell) stands out for a number of reasons — she’s rockin’ a Grace Jones look and attitude and has serious rap skills and killer dance moves. (6 Reasons Sharaya J Wins ‘The Four’.) The former hip hop dancer and choreographer is the daughter of Ray Howell, a member of the 1990s hip hop band Double XX Posse.
The Jersey City group had two big hits on their debut album Put Ya Boots On – “Not Gonna be Able to Do It” and “Head Cracker.” Their second and last album, Ruff, Rugged & Raw, was released in 1995. The Four: The Battle for Stardom airs Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
