On the third round of qualifiers on World of Dance Season 2, judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer Lopez, and Derek Hough get to watch Lock N LOL Crew compete for a spot in the competition. The fun co-ed crew traveled all the way from Seoul, South Korea to perform. As JLo says, “It was pure entertainment.” Not only did Lock N LOL incorporate hat tricks but they also pulled off a crazy costume change in the middle of the routine.
While everyone was impressed with Lock N LOL, they were warned that if they advance on World of Dance, they’ll have to do more than popping and locking — which can get repetitive. Ne-Yo suggests that they elevate the entertainment factor even more. Derek points out a number of Lock N LOL’s strengths including the use of formation. “You made it look easy,” he told them, which really is the highest compliment you can give a performer. World of Dance airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC, right after America’s Got Talent.
