When not watching the dynamic 2018 Olympic Winter Games on NBC, you could tune in for the dramatic 2018 Bachelor Winter Games on ABC. Twenty-five gorgeous single people from around the world are playing, flirting and having a good time together in Vermont. Twelve of them are from American Bachelor shows (Ben Higgins, Ashley I.), the others are from abroad. One of the most interesting women is Tiffany Scanlon. The 31-year-old “experience junkie” was on Season 4 of The Bachelor Australia.
When not on TV or on the road, Tiffany is working on her blog The Tiffany Times. She writes about her experiences traveling (going to India to train as a yoga instructor) and her darkest moments (Tiffany has struggled with depression). In November 2017, she wrote an article about “the time I transformed my body and mind with HIIT.” (HIIT stands for High-Intensity Interval Training.) With the article are photos of her at her heaviest/most unhealthy. While she admits she was never overweight (125lbs.) she was “weak” and “unhappy.” After starting her HIIT and diet (“70% or more of the results I achieved came from a change in my diet”), she began to notice results after 2 weeks. The before and after photos (see below) are stunning. She does look strong and happy at 114lbs. The Bachelor Winter Games airs Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
🎉🔜New blog post will be up this afternoon detailing how I went from slim, weak and unhappy to toned, strong and happy 💪 Left: Jan 2015 at 57kg Right: Today at 52kg I only write the weights because I know a lot of people beleive its all about the number on the scale. I rarely weigh myself as I know muscle weighs more than fat so I rather notice how my clothes fit me or look at before and after pics. All the details in my blog xoxo
I started doing an exercise program called Bikini Body Guide by @kayla_itsines at the start of 2015 (the first of each picture), nearly two years on (the second of each picture) and boy has it been a transformation! I started the program after feeling I had lost control over my life. I didn’t value myself and therefore was attracting people into my life who didn’t value me either. While there are many things out of my control, my body is entirely mine and if i couldn’t be strong on the inside then damn it i was going to build strength from the outside. I started to feel better about myself and built up somewhat of an armour to protect myself. It would be a long time before i let anyone in again. It hasn’t been the smoothest journey, I’ve come off the wagon a couple of times, i still eat chocolate and have a few drinks, but overall I could not be more proud coming up to 30 #6til30 . . #bbg #bbggirls #kaylaitsines #bbgprogress #bbgtransformation #transformationtuesday #fitgirl #strongnotskinny #buildingstrength #bikinibodyguide #sweatwithkayla
Doing the #sweatwithkayla program for around 2 years now has shown me that change is possible and it is sustainable. There are many things in life that I can’t control, but how I fuel and treat my body is entirely up to me. I haven’t done a #bbgtransformation for a while so here it is on #transformationtuesday ! I can no longer say how many weeks of #bbg I’ve done or how many rounds because there have been gaps and lots of restarting weeks but I can say that #kaylaitsines has been my regular form of exercise for the past 2ish years. I did exercise before, mainly cardio and yoga (first pic) but no other form of exercise program has given me the same results as joining the #kaylasarmy it really works!!
