On the Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode “A Life Spent,” the light shines on Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet). Daisy decides she’s going to rescue Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) at any cost. Keep in mind Daisy’s the one who caused the destruction of Earth. Stuck in outer space and struggling to survive, Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) tells his team, “I think we can all agree at this point that anything is possible.”
Gregg seems to believe what Coulson says. Right before the two-hour Season 5 premiere episode, Gregg took to social media and posted a photo of the writers of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He sent “deep gratitude” to those who make “this comic universe believable, fun, funny and moving.” Gregg says “They have been upping the game and the show every week for 100 episodes.” Oh, “and they’re all nice as s—t!” Which he means as a compliment, we’re sure. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
