On the Hell’s Kitchen episode “Josh Josh Josh,” many of the chefs are unhappy and tension in the dorms is at an all-time high. When the chefs return to the kitchen, the challenge requires them to work in pairs. They must cook different types of fish on cedar and hickory wood planks. For this specific challenge, Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay asks Chef Ben Ford for help in judging the winner. Chef Ford is known for his “Adventurous Cooking.” He tends to cook outdoors with fire — grilling, smoking, roasting — and for big crowds. He is the owner and chef of Ford’s Filling Station in Los Angeles. There are two annexes too — one in the lobby of the JW Marriott Los Angeles, the other in the Delta Terminal 5 at LAX.
Chef Ben Ford is the 50-year-old son of 75-year-old actor Harrison Ford (Hans Solo, Indiana Jones). His mother is Mary Marquardt, who was Harrison Ford’s first wife (1964-1979). The well-known actor is currently married to actress Calista Flockhart, his third wife, with whom he has a child. (Harrison Ford is the father of five.) Hell’s Kitchen airs Fridays at 8pm on FOX.
