Good Witch, the popular TV series based on the movie franchise starring Catherine Bell as the intuitive Cassie Nightingale, is coming back for its fourth season. In the Season 4 premiere two-hour episode “Spellbound” (Sunday, October 22, 8pm), the quaint town of Middleton is getting ready to celebrate Halloween when “an old prophecy is unearthed in the basement of city hall and its predictions start to come true.”
Before too many of the locals get spooked by the idea of a vengeful curse ruining their lives, Cassie finds a way to stop the curse and in time for the Halloween festivities. In an interview with Bailee Madison who plays Cassie’s daughter Grace, Madison says Cassie and Sam (James Denton) kiss a lot. “There’s a lot of PDA.” Bell agrees there’s “a lot of smooching written into the script this season.” She says, ‘There were so many smooching scenes, we actually cut some out.” Good Witch airs Sundays at 8pm on Hallmark Channel.
