NBA legend James Worthy is leading a team of former basketball stars on Celebrity Family Feud. Standing tall beside him are Robert Horry and, less tall, Muggsy Bogues, among others. The former pro basketball players will compete against a team of MLB baseball players led by Ozzie Smith.
James Worthy, the 6’9″ tall “small forward,” is one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. Before becoming a seven-time NBA All-Star (among other accolades), “Big Game James” played college ball at the University of North Carolina (with a guy named Michael Jordan) and was named Most Outstanding Playing during the 1982 NCAA Championship. Later that year, Worthy was the No. 1 pick of the NBA draft. He was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers, where he played his entire career (1982 to 1994). In 2015, Worthy became an assistant coach for the Lakers. Celebrity Family Feud airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
