Singer Carnie Wilson is leading a team of former Girl Group members to compete against a team of former boy band members on Celebrity Family Feud. Carnie and her sister Wendy Wilson (who is not competing on the show) were part of the pop trio Wilson Phillips with family friend Chynna Phillips, daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of The Mama & the Papas.
Carnie and Wendy are the daughters of Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys and his first wife Marilyn Rovell, who founded the girl group the Honeys in the 1960s with her sister Diane and cousin Ginger. (Wilson produced their one and only studio album.) In the 70s, after the Honeys folded, Marilyn and Diana formed the band Spring while she raised her two daughters Carnie and Wendy. Wilson and Rovell divorced in 1979. She was 16 when she married Wilson who was 22 at the time. Celebrity Family Feud airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
