The Posse is a contemporary dance troupe comprising seven girls (Jadyn Hernandez, Priscilla Tom, Kina Siu, Janette Solorzano, Sydney Centeno, Emily Joe, and Jana Tsai) from San Jose, California. When not training at Nor Cal Dance Arts, they’re either on a set with superstars Justin Bieber and Sia or they’re competing on the new TV competition World of Dance. For their first performance on the show, The Posse wore hoodie sweatshirts, each with a different word including “ugly” and “stupid” and “loser” which were taken off during the performance set to Alessia Cara’s song “Scars To Your Beautiful.” One of the members of The Posse explained that the hoodies represent “the insecurities that kids have.” It was an emotional performance that was well-received.

One of The Posse dancers, Jadyn Hernandez, was featured in the H&M Back to School TV commercial below. She’s the one in the white and black striped shirt and overalls (she gets a close up). World of Dance airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC. Reruns air Saturday at 8pm.
