Abby Lee Miller, the former star of Dance Moms, was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for bankruptcy fraud (hiding $775K worth of income) and for taking Australian currency ($120K worth) into the U.S. without reporting it. Miller pleaded guilty to the charges last year. Miller was also ordered to spend two years on probation after her release.
The day after her sentencing, Miller went on Good Morning America and said, “I’m going to pretend I’m in a movie and we’re on set and I’m there for 10 months and that’s the way it’s going to be.” She also said she wants to learn how to speak Spanish while in jail. On social media, Miller reassured her fans that “The best is yet to come.”
