The protagonist in the new sitcom Imaginary Mary is Alice. She’s a beautiful, fun, and sexy public relations executive who starts dating Ben (Stephen Schneider) a divorced father with three kids. When her single life gets thrown for a loop, Alice’s childhood imaginary friend Mary reappears. (Mary is a short, white furry creature who is voiced by Rachel Dratch.)
Alice is portrayed by Jenna Elfman. She’s known for her roles on Growing Up Fisher (Joyce Fisher), 1600 Penn (Emily Nash Gilchrist), Damages (Naomi Walling), Two and a Half Men (Frankie), Courting Alex (Alex), and Dharma & Greg (Dharma Finkelstein Montgomery), among others. Fun fact about Elfman: She’s married to Bodhi Elfman (Peter Lewis on Criminal Minds). Imaginary Mary airs Wednesdays at 8:30pm on ABC.
