Hunted is a new TV competition show on CBS that challenges ordinary people to live as fugitives. In the series premiere (January 22), nine people try to outsmart former FBI agents, CIA agents, military experts and cyber analysts. The winner – the one not found or the last one found within 28 days – wins $250,000. Each contestant faces unique challenges — one example being two women contestants who painfully can’t talk to their children while on the lam.
Hunted‘s Head of Operations is Lenny DePaul. This isn’t DePaul’s first time on TV. He starred in History Channel’s Hunting Hitler. The former Chief Inspector and Commander of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force spent five years in the U. S. Navy and another five working with the U.S. Secret Service. DePaul says he lives his life by this Ernest Hemingway quote: “There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.” Hunted airs Sundays at 10pm on CBS.
