On the Braxton Family Values episode “What’s the T With You and B?,” Grammy-winning singer Toni Braxton wants to show her appreciation for her sisters Trina and Towanda who have been singing backup for her for 12 years. So after their last performance together, Toni plans a “sexy fried chicken” feast for her family.

She hires chef Art Smith, who worked for former Florida governor Jeb Bush and until 2007 was personal chef to Oprah Winfrey. Smith, who calls himself the Fried Chicken King, tells Toni: “Oprah Winfrey taught me that fried chicken is always appropriate. And it tastes exceptionally wonderful and glamorous with really great champagne.” When Smith tells Toni she has to have 12-layer red velvet cake, too, Toni squeals: “Let’s go make cake!” Braxton Family Values airs Thursdays at 9pm on WEtv.
