Reports that the late King of Pop Michael Jackson kept a stash of porn (allegedly found during one of the police raids on his home) have the Jackson family responding with anger. Jackson’s nephew Taj is the most plainspoken in Jackson’s defense, firing off a series of tweets calling the supposed scoop a “trashy story.” Taj Jackson, son of Michael’s brother Tito, says there is “absolutely no truth to this story whatsoever.” Together with input from his fans and followers he is putting together a list of journalistic enterprises that he says have rushed to spread the story without checking facts.
Jackson, whose family has clearly been the focus of massive media attention both positive and negative, writes that his is “truly sick of this crap.” He cautions the media to move on with a #getalife hashtag. The Jackson estate concurs, saying in a statement: “Those who continue to shamelessly exploit Michael via sleazy internet ‘click bait’ ignore that he was acquitted by a jury in 2005 on every one of the 14 salacious charges brought against him in a failed witch hunt.”
Not only is there absolutely no truth to this story whatsoever, but I’m truly sick of this crap. #getalife and stop living off ours.
