In the second-season finale of NCIS: New Orleans, “Sleeping with the Enemy,” while on a mission to find 900 pounds of missing explosives, the team exposes a mole and huge security breach. They’ve been working with Homeland Security Agent John Russo (Ivan Sergei) but with the explosives thought to be on a boat, the team will also need the help of Coast Guard Investigative Services (CGIS) Agent Joan Swanson.
CGIS Agent Joan Swanson is portrayed by Toni Trucks. She’s known for her roles on Grimm (Deputy Sheriff Janelle Farris), Franklin & Bash (Anita Haskins), Hostages (Angela Nix), Do No Harm (Dr. Patricia Rivers), Made in Jersey (Cyndi Vega), and Barbershop (Terri), among others. Trucks is also recognized for her roles in the films Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (Steph) with Steve Carrell and Jennifer Garner, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 (Mary), Music and Lyrics, and Zoe Kazan’s Ruby Sparks (Susie) with Annette Bening.
