In The Good Wife episode “Tracks,” Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) and Cary Argos (Matt Czuchry) are on the same side of the courtroom. Their old client, musician Rowby Canton (Matthew Lillard) is being sued over ownership rights to his new music. Last time they went to court for Canton was against Alicia’s former lover/boss Will Gardner (Josh Charles). The case will stir up some bittersweet memories for Alicia and reignite a rivalry with attorney Andrea Stevens (guest star Christine Lahti). The presiding judge is Judge Louisa Page.
Judge Page is portrayed by Marsha Mason. The legendary actress is best known for her roles in the films The Goodbye Girl and Heartbreak Ridge. The four-time Academy Award nominee Mason has recently appeared on The Middle as Patricia Heaton’s mother and on Madam Secretary as Tea Leoni’s therapist. Fun fact about Mason: She was married for ten years (1973-1983) to Neil Simon, writer of three of her four Oscar-nominated roles. The Good Wife airs Sundays at 10pm on CBS.
