Litter is a line of sexy, chain jewelry and accessories designed by San Francisco sisters Rachael Mann and Mackenzie Burdick. Both educated at the Academy of Art University, their first creation was accidental. Mackenzie had a special event to go to — and she quickly turned a broken necklace into a headpiece and it was a big hit at the event. All of their jewelry is handmade in California, and can be found on the most interesting people on the most interesting places on their bodies. (See photo below.)
When the sisters pitched Litter on Shark Tank they made a deal with Daymond John and Mark Cuban — $80,000 for 51 percent of the company (exactly what they asked for). Since the show, Litter has partnered with several celebrities including Victoria’s Secret Angel and Sports Illustrated model Selita Ebanks who says “Litter is ingenious.” Her first order was for a chain swimsuit with a hoodie. They delivered the custom piece in one week.
