On the Live Semis of The Voice, Marietta, Georgia teenager Zach Seabaugh performed Miley Cyrus’ song “The Climb.” He took direction from his mentor Blake Shelton who told him to dial it back and “George Strait” it. Instead of putting on an Elvis-esque performance, Seabaugh stood still with an acoustic guitar and sang the heck out of “The Climb”.

Seabaugh also takes advice from fellow Team Blake member, 35-year-old Barrett Baber. After “The Climb” performance Seabaugh told AJC.com, “I’ve stuck by Barrett’s side. I’ve learned a lot from him.” That said, when asked who he thinks the top three will be Seabaugh named Jordan Smith, Emily Ann Roberts, and Amy Vachal. The top three go through automatically. Even if Zach’s right, it doesn’t mean Barrett doesn’t make it. There’s one more spot open to advance to the top 4. The Top 4 will be announced on The Voice on Tuesday, December 8 (8pm, NBC).
