In the Lifetime TV movie Wish Upon a Christmas, tough business executive Amelia (Larisa Oleynik) is sent to her hometown for business. One of her company’s companies is failing. It’s up to Amelia to save the family-run ornament business. Her first plan of action is lay people off, but then she finds herself face-to-face with the owner, Jesse (Aaron Ashmore), her old high school boyfriend. When Amelia calls her father to give him an update, he’s surprised to hear the softer side of Amelia describe the company as “something special.”
Amelia’s father is portrayed by Alan Thicke.
