The dark, one-hour drama Spotless is about the Bastiere brothers, Jean (Marc-André Grondin) and Martin (Denis Ménochet). Set in London, Jean runs a crime scene cleaning business while his outlaw brother Martin causes havoc wherever he goes. The Bastiere brothers are forced to work with mob boss Nelson Clay and his world of corruption, drugs and death.
Nelson Clay is portrayed by Brendan Coyle. Americans recognize him as valet John Bates on Downton Abbey. Fun fact about Coyle: He is the great nephew of football (i.e. soccer) legend Sir Matt Busby of Manchester United fame. Spotless airs Saturdays at 10pm on Esquire TV.
