When US Army combat medic Kelli Bordeaux went missing from Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina, bounty hunter turned private investigator David Marshburn carried out his own investigation. Two years later, Marshburn followed his instinct and interviewed one of the suspects, Nicholas Holbert, the young man who was last seen with Bordeaux. Holbert confessed to Marshburn to killing Bordeaux and showed Marshburn where he buried her.
48 Hours will air a special about the disappearance and murder of Bordeaux including an interview with Marshburn. The private investigator continues to run his private agency and is currently trying to solve the missing person case of Roger Chambers from Hoke County. Chambers was last seen five years ago. He was 35 years old. 48 Hours airs Saturdays at 10pm on CBS.
