Dr. Jenn is the head therapist on the VH1 reality TV show Couples Therapy. She tries to help celebrities and their significant others work though problems in their relationships. Some are worth salvaging, some aren’t. In addition to serving as a kind of host for the reality show, Dr. Jenn Mann is also a radio host (The Dr. Jenn Show is on Sirius XM) and author of a number of books about parenting. (She’s also the mother of twins!)
Dr. Jenn Mann is a licensed psychotherapist who has a private practice in Los Angeles. On her website, she says she has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, a Doctoroate in Marriage and Family Therapy, but does not mention the institutions where she earned those degrees. She does mention in her bio that while getting her Master’s degree, she coached gymnastics. As a former athlete and psychologist in training, she says she helped gymnasts technically and psychologically. She was highly qualified for that, too: Mann was a member of the U.S. Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team and competed in the 1984 Olympic Games. Couples Therapy airs Wednesdays at 10pm on VH1.
